STYP AGRICULTURe ENGINEERING services
As farmers and ranchers, you are some of the most industrious, resourceful people, with many ideas of ways to improve your processes. Sometimes you simply don't have time to spare to design and build the solution that you have in your mind. This is where STYP comes in. At STYP we work closely with farmers and ranchers to develop products that improve the standard processes associated with farming and ranching on a daily basis. Because we have experience in designing for a variety of manufacturing processes, we know how to design while ensuring that costs will stay low, because we know that you have a lot of expenses to consider every day. We have the ability to manufacture these solutions in-house, or if you prefer to save money we can simply pass clean, thorough drawings and component purchase lists to you so that you can build it yourself.
At STYP we offer a variety of services for farms and ranches including design of mechanical components and systems for equipment, structures, implements, vehicles, or anything else that you need. We can work with you to make your idea a reality so that you don't have to.
We will...
Design and build your idea for you
OR
We can simply design it and can provide you with a complete set of drawings so that you can build it yourself
We know how to design so that it can be built in a home shop because we do this every day ourselves! We design in SolidWorks 3D CAD software which allows us, and our customers, to visualize the end product before finalizing the design.
Transfer Auger Mount
A family farm had the vision of a way to more easily mount their transfer auger during harvest time. Instead of manually lifting the auger into the back of a pickup or onto a trailer, they wanted a simple way to mount the auger underneath their larger auger that has wheels and is pulled behind a pickup. STYP developed a solution that they could build themselves by specifying exactly what materials to use, where to weld, where to bolt, exactly what components to purchase, including part numbers for the components, etc. This made it easy for them to build without having to spend time working through these details themselves. In the end this solution eliminated the need for another vehicle specifically for the transfer auger, and eliminated the backbreaking work of lifting the 300+ lbs transfer auger up off the ground.
